ABOUT ME

Brad Sherman
UW-Madison

My design journey started when I created Riverbank, my first clothing brand. That was my first real dive into graphics, and I discovered I had a natural feel for it. Coming from a background in drawing, the transition felt pretty seamless.

When I got to UW-Madison, I was completely overwhelmed by all the different mediums I could explore. Instead of sticking to one thing, I dove into everything—drawing, 3D design, woodworking, coding, programming, you name it. What surprised me was how each medium started influencing the others. Learning woodworking made me think differently about 3D design, and drawing gave me a better eye for typography.

Being Italian has also become a big part of my creative identity. A lot of my work connects back to my heritage. These personal connections make the work more meaningful for me.

Now my apartment is basically a living portfolio, woodwork pieces, drawings on the walls, prints everywhere. I love creating things that are both beautiful and practical. If I can hang it on a wall or use it every day, even better. It's all about making art that lives with you.
